Dear Tahlia

Happy birthday Tahlia! Haven’t seen you for a long time and I miss you so much! Congrats for turning into 13 years old, this is certainly worth celebrating as you have officially entered your wonderful teenage years! From my experience till now, I know that as you grow older, you will have much broader and deeper connections to the real world, and maybe start to understand and adventurously discover what life is. I am still going through this process which contains a lot of great fun, for example I have made intimate friends whom I can do reckless things with, acquire more absorbing knowledge of subjects that I am passionate in, created fond memories with my class of 3 years, developed several interests bla bla bla. I also get to know myself more bit by bit, and I am generally quite proud of who I am despite some weaknesses (I get really stupid and clumsy occasionally) of mine! Life offers me more blessings, opportunities and challenges in these recent years; when they come I grab my chance and gratefully embrace them. I know I should try to achieve as much as possible in this stage of life because it is the time when I have my wildest dreams and biggest ambitions. My teenage years are amazing so far, but it is

still inevitable to face difficult situations at times (it gets hard especially when I have emotional upheavals and mood swings). I think I have learnt to stay positive and see the bright side of things most of the time, like, they actually mature you. So I give myself a big warm hug and carry on. Also, no matter what, you will still have your family to back you up (which I can tell loves you very much) J Congrats again for transforming into a beautiful young lady! By the way, I want to share two quotes I read when I was randomly scrolling through Instagram before (maybe you have heard them before tho): “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you will land among the stars.” And “Life is short, eat desserts!” Very encouraging (and funny for the later one) for us teenagers right? Sincerely hope you can have a fruitful and rewarding teenage life ahead!
