Getting a haircut

We took TK to get a much-needed haircut on Sunday.  They will be attending boarding camp next week for 9 days and we need to help them simplify their life as much as we can.

Today Tahlia has orchestra practice and her math tutor was going to study with her from 7:30-9:30 pm and since Tahlia has been battling a cold I told her to skip school and stay home and get some rest.  Exams were over and the teacher was not going to teach anything new anyways.

Keely went to school and she told me that her teacher taught the class how to ride a bike.

She said: ‘There were 3 people in our class who cut their hair today. : my teacher,  Benson and me.’

Visiting 靜心中小學

 

We visited the 靜心 private school on 01/09.  The school held an open house event, and lots of parents took their kids to check out the facilities.  The orientation presentation was held in the musical hall on the 4th floor of the new building. 靜心 private school had an excellent orchestral program, and it was heavily promoted by the principle and the rest of the faculty. The orchestral conductor was there at the presentation as well. Tahlia was rather intimidated by the heavy frame glass – wild hair conductor.

We went to visit school Bilingual facility. It was placed in the basement of the new building. Not very impressive. The library, on the other hand, was nice and grand, and it’s located all the way on the top floor.

Keely qualified for school dance team!

Keely went for the school dance team audition. The audition took place at the 2nd-floor multipurpose room (dance classroom). She had to do several required exercise routines which include splits, and then follow teacher’s dance moves. Lastly, she had to perform a free dance. Keely was qualified and she will start her practice on Feb. 17th, 2:00 pm.
