Hand in hand

Really enjoyed holding your hand and hiking with you for the past 2 hours, Tahlia.  We spent time drilling your English spelling and then talked about how we would prepare for our upcoming Western American hiking trip.  You shared information from your own resources about things that you learnt at school in a class where your teacher recounted his experience hiking up to Yu Mountain.  You reminded us that we should pack flashlights, gloves, a hat,  extra clothes and a camel water bag for our hike.  When I asked you what you planned to pack you listed: a parachute, sleeping bag, umbrella, both your cellphones, your canon camera, and your water bottle.  We hiked for 2 hours and 15 mins to test our endurance.  Tahlia, you walked with only an umbrella and a near empty paper bag,  you even left your backpack in the car but despite that you we’re already complaining about how tired you were before the end of the hike.
