You are so cute Keely. You walked up to me while I was working and held up a small box announcing that I had a special delivery. You even provided a receipt. Inside the box were specially made macarons. The flavors: green tea with red bean filling, blueberry, grape with strawberry filling and grape macaron. Yum
We are watching Indiana Jones tonight to catch glimpses of Arches National Park for our upcoming road trip of the American West coast National Parks.

Tahlia is part of the orchestra and Iris is part of the choir so the two groups joined forces today in. Performance to celebrate the 6th grader’s last year.
Page One is closing and is having a half price sale so I brought Keely with me to get the girls some books.

Keely brought home this orange Lion scented pouch today. It is filled with lavender and she stitched it up all by herself. She made it on May 25th. One interesting thing that Keely observed is that it is very difficult to make him cross-eyed. Good point! I would have never noticed that. 🙂
A small indulgence today. Dad bought me my favorite pastries and then made me a cup of milk tea sprinkled with rose petals. These are my current favorites. Lemon tart with white meringue topping meticulously shaped into a gardenia flower and a raspberry and pistachio chocolate mousse cake from 8% cafe. .
I was rushing out of the house at 8:30am this morning when I realized that I couldn’t find my slippers. After a few seconds I immediately realized what happened. Tahlia has the exact same pair of slippers and must have worn mine instead. So the day has finally come… the day when my first born has grown so big that she can accidentally slip on my shoes and nonchalantly dash off to school leaving me to wear her shoes to work.
